Description
The Nashville Fire Department will host a skills demonstration for our new Accelerant Detection K-9 Harriett who joined the department in April. The demonstration will happen at the Nashville Fire Department Training Academy located at 2601 Buena Vista Pike, Nashville, TN 37218 on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 10:00 am.
Harriett and her handler, NFD Fire Investigator Brian Rigsby, completed a four-week training through the State Farm ® Arson Dog Training Program in April. Since 1993, the State Farm Arson Dog Program has provided funding for the acquisition and training of more than 425 dogs and their partners to work in 46 states, the District of Columbia and three Canadian Provinces.
