The Nashville Office of the National Weather Service (NWS) forecasts a high chance for rain & thunderstorms on Sunday and Monday.
Quiet weather will continue Sunday morning, but rain and thunderstorms return Sunday afternoon through Monday. There is a low chance of strong storms tonight through Monday with heavy rain and strong winds, the primary threat.
Mainly quiet weather is expected after Monday.
There is a marginal risk (mostly level 1 out of 5) of severe storms. A marginal risk is the lowest level on the NWS Storm Prediction Scale. Most storms will be weak or short-lived. However, one or two storms may briefly become severe.
