Homicide Unit detectives are investigating Saturday’s 8:15 p.m. gunfire that struck and killed an innocent 41-year-old Nashville man inside his caretaker’s residence in the 3800 block of Crouch Drive. Efforts continue to notify his next of kin.
Last night, a dark colored sedan pulled up in front of the residence and person(s) inside the vehicle opened fire, striking him in the chest. The innocent victim, who needed full-time assistance, was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center where he died.
Homicide and TITANS (The Investigative Team Addressing Neighborhood Shootings) Unit detectives are pursuing leads into who was the intended target and those responsible for this senseless murder.
Multiple shots were fired at this same Crouch Drive residence on September 20. No one was struck in that incident.
