To meet Nashville’s growing demand for diverse recreation and wellness opportunities, Metro Parks operates a system of regional recreation centers across the city. These facilities offer a wide range of programs and services for people of all ages and abilities.
Each of our regional recreation facilities include a fully-equipped fitness center with the latest aerobic and strengthening equipment, gymnasium, indoor walking/running track, dance/exercise studio, arts and crafts room, multi-use meeting space and game room. Most facilities feature an indoor swimming pool as well. In addition, each center offers specialized features unique to their location. These include the “black-box” theater at East Park, teaching kitchen at Coleman Park, computer lab at Hadley Park, and our first LEED certified facility at McCabe Park.
Program offerings at these centers reflect the diverse interests of the surrounding community. Activities are offered for all ages and abilities and include group fitness classes, youth and adult sports, dance classes, senior recreation/social programs, arts classes, aquatic programs, free play, and youth out-of-school programs.
