The Division of Epidemiology at Metro Public Health is here to provide data support and leadership to many different programs.
Epidemiology is the study of the spread of disease through observation and statistical analysis. The principles of epidemiology can be applied to different programs through ongoing program evaluation, data collection and surveillance, and offering data analysis for use in programmatic decision making.
