Department of Human Resources

HR Metro Nashville You serve Metro, we serve youWelcome to the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County Human Resource’s home page. Our Department is committed to assisting our customers, both internal and external, by providing information and support in such areas as compensation, benefits, safety, training and employment law.

Our goal is to recruit and retain a highly qualified diverse municipal work force, provide opportunities that promote professional development and to foster a safe, healthy and productive work environment that will allow us to provide quality services to the public.

2015 Annual Enrollment

Each year, Metro employees and pensioners have an opportunity to change their benefits for the next year (without having an eligible change in status). Read more about Annual Enrollment.

Metro employees and pensioners may enroll their domestic partner during Annual Enrollment with benefits effective January 1, 2015. Click the Annual Enrollment link for more information about adding a domestic partner.

If you want your 2015 benefits to remain the same as they currently are, you do not need to do anything - your elections will stay the same for 2015. However, if you are an active employee and you want to enroll or reenroll in an FSA you MUST complete an Election Form.
