The Davidson County Clerk’s Office HAS MOVED!!!
Attention:
- Our Temporary Headquarters is at 523 Mainstream Drive (37228) in the Riverview Business Center II at Metro Center as of June 18, 2007.
- As of June 18, 2007, The North Police Precinct Branch (2231 26th Ave N) will only be processing the Automobile Dealer Work at this time. Please visit our 523 Mainstream Drive office for your automobile renewals and title services. For a map from there to here, click here.
- The majority of the Specialty/Personalized license plates are being re-issued this year and must be picked up at the Metro Center location. The other branches will not have specialty or personalized license plates. Please call 615-862-6050 confirm your specialty or personalized license plate(s).

We also accept checks. Please make your check payable to Davidson County Clerk. Make sure your check has your current TN Driver License number and daytime phone number printed or written on the check. Checks are accepted on Davidson County banks only.
If your check is returned for non-sufficient funds, you expressly authorize your account to be electronically debited or bank drafted for the amount of the check, plus any applicable fees. The use of a check for payment is your acknowledgement and acceptance of this policy and its terms and conditions.
