Preparing now for an emergency, can make a big difference in ensuring the safety and well being of yourself and those around you.

Tennesseans have many possible emergencies facing them year round; however, Tornados are the most prominent in our area. March - May is considered tornado season in Middle Tennessee.  However, it's important to note that tornados can strike anytime and anywhere!  For this reason, OEM highly recommends that citizens keep a NOAA Emergency Alert radio with extra batteries in their homes, preferable in the bedroom, with an audible alert. More information on Nashvilles tornado sirens.
