Board of Ethical Conduct

The Board of Ethical Conduct receives and considers complaints that allege a violation of the standards of conduct by a Metropolitan Government elected official or member of a Metropolitan board or commission.  The Board has authority to make various recommendations in response to a complaint, and also has authority to render advisory opinions at the request of persons under its jurisdiction at any time.

Meeting Details

Meetings are held on a “called” basis, at 1 Public Square, Suite 205, Nashville, TN 37201. The Board may not discuss pending cases outside of its meetings.
