The Nashville Office of Emergency Management (OEM) Emergency Operations Center remains activated and is continuing to coordinate with local, state, and community partners as the city transitions from response to recovery following Winter Storm Fern.
While significant progress has been made in restoring essential services, ongoing recovery efforts remain focused on supporting residents, stabilizing impacted areas, and connecting the community with critical resources.
As conditions improve, organized volunteer efforts are now underway to assist with neighborhood canvassing and debris cleanup. Hands on Nashville (HON) is coordinating volunteer opportunities supporting Winter Storm Fern.
A community wide service day focusing on debris pickup will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026. Visit United Way's website for more information on registering and other ways to get involved.
Following ongoing assessments and decreased demand, services have been consolidated to one 24/7 warming shelter providing overnight accommodation and meals at Bellevue Community Center (7638A Highway 70 South, Nashville, TN 37221). Transportation is available by calling 615-401-1712.

The Nashville Electric Service (NES) continues to restore power to our communities. Outage numbers may fluctuate as crews complete targeted restoration work to bring more customers back online.
The Nashville VOAD is coordinating limited generator distribution using needs-based assessments, prioritizing vulnerable residents and those with medical dependencies.
