Joseph Rose is a Historic Zoning Planner with the Metropolitan Planning Department. He is a Middle Tennessee native and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Mississippi State University. Prior to joining our staff, he worked in New York City for an architecture firm that specializes in the design and restoration of theatres, performing art centers, and other cultural institutions. Joseph has been involved in the design, construction, and restoration of a number of theatre and cultural projects during his career, including the recent renovations of St. Louis’s Muny Theatre.
