Capital Projects
The Nashville Department of Transporation Capital Projects Section is responsible for the oversight, management and implementation of stand-alone Metro funded capital improvement projects and locally managed state/federal grant funded projects under the oversight of the Tennessee Department (TDOT) of Transportation Local Programs Development Office (LPDO).

Bikeways
Nashville’s existing bikeway network comprises approximately 300 miles of bike facilities, ranging from shared street environments known as Neighborways to separated facilities which include conventional striped bike lanes as well as buffered and protected bike lanes and two-way cycletracks.
Road Paving
The Paving Office of the Nashville Department of Transportation is responsible for maintaining 2,447 centerline miles or 5,912 lane miles of roadways in Davidson County.
Sidewalks
The Nashville Department of Transportation is responsible for delivery of locally funded sidewalk projects within Davidson County. From planning through maintenance, our team is responsible for efficient delivery of sidewalk projects.
