The Metro Public Health Department Opioid/Overdose Response and Reduction Program seeks to conduct public health surveillance on drug overdoses in Davidson County in order to effectively respond to and inform targeted intervention efforts in collaboration with community partners. The program strives to support and enhance stakeholder partnerships, improve linkage to treatment for people living with substance use disorders, and ultimately reduce both fatal and non-fatal drug overdoses.
