What We Do
Metro Government is committed to assisting in the development of Minority, Service Disabled Veteran, Small, and Women Owned Businesses in Davidson County. The Office of Minority and Women Business Assistance (BAO) works to coordinate available public and private services in an effort to support the development and economic prosperity of small and disadvantaged businesses. This is achieved by collaborating with Metro Nashville Government Departments, and other members of the Nashville business community thereby better preparing these businesses to be viable competitors for work with the City
Our office conducts several activities, which aim to create stronger, more competitive Minority, Service Disabled Veteran, Small, and Women Owned Businesses in Nashville and thereby impact the overall economy.
