Mission and Vision

Metro Animal Care and Control is committed to the delivery of humane and responsive animal care and control services to and for the residents and animals of Nashville-Davidson County.

We work with individuals and organizations across Nashville to help domestic animals find caring homes, decrease over-population of cats and dogs through spaying and neutering, support widespread rabies vaccinations, and promote responsible pet ownership.

2019 Low-Cost Rabies Clinic Information

Metro Animal Care and Control (MACC) is following a Metro Ordinance that requires us to offer the three year rabies vaccine and license at our monthly rabies vaccination clinics. The cost of the three-year license and three-year vaccine is $26.00. The owner must provide proof of previous vaccination, such as their previous rabies vaccine certificate. A microchip with registration is also available for $10.00. Cash or check are the only forms of payment accepted at the Saturday rabies clinics.
