Edna J. Jones has been employed with Metro Government for more than thirty-five years, having supervised programs for at risk children, served as Safety Coordinator and currently as Coordinator at General Services Sustainability Division for alternative parking and management of the electric vehicle program as well as other special projects. Edna has an M.S. Degree in Counseling Psychology and pursuant Doctorate in Psychology. She is also a licensed Massage Therapist and Reflexologist. She serves on various committees including as Chair of the Metro Employee Benefit Board. Her son, Colonel Mike Jones (retired US Army) has a business which serves veterans who are returning to civilian life to locate employment. She is also the guardian of four fur babies who make her life complete. She volunteers by providing basic comfort items to homeless animals and their humans.
