Lauryn Gayles is the Sustainability Intern for the Metro Nashville Department of General Services. She is a rising junior at Vanderbilt University, studying Earth and Environmental Science and Public Policy Studies with a focus in environmental, resource, and energy policy.

Lauryn assists the team with various sustainability initiatives that focus on energy management, renewable energy, electric vehicles, and community engagement.
