Participatory Budgeting Delegates are volunteers who determine and prioritize the eligible project ideas submitted by residents and craft the Participatory Budgeting ballot. Budget Delegates evaluate submitted ideas on three main criteria: need, impact, and feasibility.

The 2023 Participatory Budgeting Delegate is responsible for assisting in the following:
- Determining and prioritizing the eligible project ideas
- Developing the final project proposals into a project ballot
What is the time commitment to volunteer?
The specific time investment depends on which role people are involved, but the purpose of Participatory Budgeting is to put the power in the hands of residents, so more involvement and input is necessary to make the project be successful.
