The Nashville Davidson County Register of Deeds will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday April 9 and 10 as construction for phase II nears completion according to County Register Karen Johnson.
Customer access to archives, microfilm, microfiche, old index books, computer work stations, and database for individual research and title searches are just some of the services that will be offered once final construction is complete in the lower -level Register of Deeds office.
"We are excited about final completion of construction at our new office and look forward to providing a wide range of new and improved services to our customers," stated Register of Deeds Karen Johnson. "The Register of Deeds regrets any inconvenience caused by this necessary closing," she added.
Additionally, the renovated area will provide a Veterans ID booth where cards can be provided in place of DD214 private documents.
All E-filing services remain available. The office will reopen and resume regular business hours on Friday, April 11 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with plans for the entire space to be fully operational to the public in late April 2025.
