Metro Social Services is releasing its preliminary 2024 client data which will help provide deep insight into how Davidson County families are fairing in the current economic client. What consequences of the economy are our families dealing with and how are we supporting them?
We utilize a plethora of data collection tools in our office to monitor client requests and services. Doing so helps us track the needs of our clients, social and economic trends and patterns of Davidson County residents. This data is then used to help us customize services and programs to best meet our clients’ needs.
Below is a look at key data points we highlighted during the calendar year beginning January 1. For comparison, provided for you are 2023 numbers. Additionally, included are highlights of work we’ve done including some initiatives we’ve launched.
Special Note: The numbers found in the first chart will be updated in a couple of weeks to reflect the numbers from December 2024 which will mean the 2024 numbers are expected to increase slightly. In order to release this report on this last day of the year, we tabulated data up to November 30, 2024.
