Metro offers medical coverage to eligible pensioners and their eligible dependents. Pensioners and their covered dependents all who are eligible for Medicare Parts A and B are only eligible for Metro's Medicare Advantage plan. Pensioners who are not Medicare eligible, or cover dependents who are not eligible for Medicare, may choose from the PPO or HRA plan.
Medicare Advantage Plan
The Medicare Advantage Plan insured by Humana is only available to pensioners and their covered dependents, all of whom have Medicare Parts A and B. You are free to use out-of-network providers for covered services as long as the provider accepts Medicare and agrees to bill Humana. Do not enroll in any other Medicare Advantage plan or you will be disenrolled from Metro's plan.

PPO and HRA Plans
Metro offers two medical options for pensioners without Medicare or who cover dependents without Medicare. Both the PPO and HRA plans are administered by Cigna. Whether you choose the PPO Plan or the HRA Plan, both plans use the same network of providers and drug formulary, but the way the plans pay for benefits differs.
