About TechTies
TechTies is your one-stop shop for digital skills, job training, computer access, and virtual health services—all in one convenient place for Davidson County! We also have trained Digital Navigators who can come to your location to teach classes.
TechTies is based at 1281 Murfreesboro Pike, a brand-new Metro Action Commission (MAC) facility designed to support the community with:
- Workforce Development – Helping more people gain the skills they need for today’s job market.
- Dedicated Training Space – Offering hands-on tech training to prepare you for a digital world.
- Computer Lab – With free internet, printing, and access to online resources.
- Health Monitoring Equipment – Clients can check basic health reading like blood pressure and find out how to connect with clinicians.
Digital Support and Training
- Learn Digital Skills – We use Tech Goes Home's trusted training to help people of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced users.
- One-on-One Digital Help – Our Digital Navigators work with nonprofit organizations to bring tech access and support to the Davidson County.
- Tech Career Training – LocalTek provides training and apprenticeships to help people start careers in technology, with internship and job opportunities.
- Free Internet and Devices – Our computer lab has free internet access, and participants in digital training programs get a device to use and keep.
