TechTies is your one-stop place for learning digital skills, job training, computer access, and hands-on help—all in one easy location in Davidson County! We also have trainers who can come to your community to teach classes.
TechTies is located at 1281 Murfreesboro Pike, in a brand-new Metro Action Commission (MAC) building that is here to help the community with:
- Workforce Development: We assist more people in gaining the skills needed for today's jobs.
- Training Space: We have a special area where you can learn hands-on tech skills to prepare for a digital future.
- Computer Lab: Free internet, printing, and access to online resources are available here.
What We Offer
- Learn Digital Skills: We use trusted programs like Tech Goes Home to teach everyone—from beginners to more advanced users—how to use technology.
- One-on-One Help: Our Digital Navigators can visit your community to give personal support and help with tech questions.
- Tech Career Training: LocalTek provides training and apprenticeships to help you start a career in technology, with chances for internships and jobs.
- Free Internet and Devices: Our computer lab offers free internet, and students in our programs receive a device to keep and use.
