Employees have two medical plan options and may choose between the PPO Plan or the HRA Plan, both administered by Cigna. Whether you choose the PPO or the HRA Plan, both use the same network of providers and drug formulary, but the way the plans pay for benefits differs. Incentive Programs Offered

There are two different incentive programs offered to Metro employees, pensioners and their covered dependents which can be used in conjunction with Metro's insurance plan and may save you money out of your pocket. Those who have Medicare may not participate in this incentive program and have co-pays, deductibles or coinsurance waived.

Nashville General Hospital Healthcare Incentive Program

Provided by Nashville General Hospital and the Nashville Healthcare Center, and Meharry Medical Group. Services include emergency, same-day-surgery, maternity, primary care, specialist, in-patient care, radiology (x-ray, mammograms, MRI), lab work, physical and occupational therapy. Metro Nashville Public Schools Healthcare Centers
