What Types of Jobs Does the POWER Youth Portal Have?
Year-Round, Part-Time, and Seasonal Jobs
Employers use the Metro Action POWER Youth portal to post available jobs open to 14-22 year-olds all year.
Summer Programs
Experience Work
Ages 14-15. Experience Work participants make $12 per hour while working on art or community development projects.
High School Internship
Ages 16-18. High School Interns make $15 per hour work independently at private, public, non-profit, and university job sites, and receive pre-program training and coaching to ensure they have the skills needed on the job.
Peer Leaders
Ages 20-22. Peer Leaders make $18 per hour, while developing skills that are transferrable to a career in youth development.
