CDBG – How’s Nashville is for clients who meet HUD Category 1 homelessness criteria and provides a limited, one-time payment toward their first month’s rent, utility deposit, and/or security deposit. Once a client has received the maximum allowable funds, no additional requests may be submitted.
Case managers/Navigators must be active HMIS users, submit the CDBG – How’s Nashville request form via hubNashville, and upload all supporting documents to the client’s HMIS profile under “File Attachments.”
Required documentation:
Incomplete requests or requests that do not have ALL supporting documentation uploaded to HMIS will not be processed and a new hub request will need to be submitted.

Please use the client's DV CE Moniker in place of HMIS ID on the HUB CDBG Move-In Assistance Request Form
