Description
Davidson County Soil Conservation District cordially invites you to a free Farm Information Day at Joelton Feed & Farm Store. The event will showcase Best Management Practices installed to improve water quality & soil health. Using hoop houses, forestry/tree management, CSAs, vegetable, flower, and livestock production. Experts from NRCS, Forestry, TDA, Local Farmers & UT Extension will be on hand with presentations and information. Anyone interested in learning about the advantages of the Best Management Practices, grants and possible funding for landowners is encouraged to attend.
Come and learn how these farms are saving money, increasing production, and conserving the land and water.
