Short Term Rental permits are valid for 365 days and must be renewed annually before its expiration date.
It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure their permit is in good standing and renewed in a timely manner. Metro is not responsible for the renewal of a permit.
System generated renewal notification emails are sent to all parties with an email address in the permit, at 60 and 45 days prior to permit expiration. These emails include instructions and a link to the affidavit required for renewal. Check junk/spam folders if necessary.
If you need to submit your renewal directly, complete the Short Term Rental Renewal Affidavit. Once the affidavit is completed, email it to [email protected] for review. If the review is successful, you will be sent an email with instructions to make payment. The permit is not renewed until payment is made.
You are able to access your permit 24/7 via ePermits. Type in your permit number to search and review your permit. From here, you can see the status of your permit. If you have any questions, email [email protected].
