Drop-off Recycling Material Preparation Guidelines

All Paper

Office paper, magazines, junk mail, newspaper, computer paper, notebook paper, phone books, paperback books, construction paper, brown paper bags, milk or juice cartons (including gable top and aseptic containers). Paper should be clean – no food.

Cardboard

Cardboard boxes, food boxes (Boxes should be clean – no food or grease). All boxes should be broken down.

Plastic Bottles and Containers

Drink bottles and their caps, detergent and cleaner bottles and their caps, yogurt/cottage cheese and other dairy "tubs" and their lids (please empty containers) and plastic trays, such as the lunchable type containers.

Metal and Aluminum Cans

Empty food and drink cans, empty aerosol cans, foils and trays, metal lids.

Glass Bottles and Jars

Empty glass bottles and jars. No metal lids (place metal lids in metal bin). All glass colors can be commingled.
