Instructional Bulletins

Instructional Bulletins describe updates to NDOT detail and specification documents. When a detail or specification is revised, users should refer to the accompanying bulletin for more information regarding revisions.

Details

Projects shall be designed and constructed using the details as listed below and the Standard Drawings available from the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

Instructions for printing

Select the drawing. Click on the name of the drawing to view. It will be displayed in a new window.
Set your margins. In the new window, click on the "File" menu and then on "Page Setup." Set all of your margins as close to zero as the page setup window will allow, and then click OK.
Print the drawing. In the new window, click on the "File" menu and then on "Print..." Note that the drawings must be printed at a resolution of 300 dpi.

Instructions for saving

Select the drawing. Click on the name of the drawing to view. It will be displayed in a new window.
Save the drawing. After the drawing has loaded in the new window, right click the drawing. A menu should display that gives the option of saving the picture. Click on this and a standard Windows file dialog will appear, allowing the saving of any local location available.

Projects shall be designed and constructed using the Tennessee Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (latest edition), Additional Specifications and Special Provisions thereof. Additional Specifications as listed below shall take precedence over applicable TDOT Standard Specifications and Special Provisions.
