The source data for these dashboards is publicly available and updated nightly. These instructions apply to the map-based dashboards for UCR Incidents, Shootings, Stolen Firearms, Crashes, and Vehicle Stops, which include data from the current year and the prior four years.
To Download the Data
- Navigate to the appropriate map-based dashboard.
- Set the report parameters:
- In the Precinct, ZIP, or Council District dropdown, select (All)
- In the Offense dropdown, select (All)
- In the Reported On menu:
- Select Years
- Choose Last 5 Years
- Once the visualization updates, click anywhere on the map.
- Below the visualization, click the Download button (the icon looks like a rectangle with a downward-pointing arrow).
- In the menu that appears, click Data.
- On the next screen:
- Change the setting from Summary to Full Data
- Click Show Fields, select (All)
- Click Download
- The data will download to your computer as a CSV file.
