To request Police records, reports, Body Worn Cameras and/or In-Car-Camera footage, complete the Open Records Request form. Body Worn Cameras and In-Car Camera footage requested will be forwarded to the Police Department's Information Technology Division to be processed.

A Photo ID is required for all records requests.
Records may be requested by mail or hand carry it with payment our office location.
Records may also be requested by postal mail or in person to MNPD Central Records Department. Central Records is located at 811 Anderson Ln Suite 100 in Madison, TN 37115. If requesting via postal mail, you will need to complete the MNPDPublicRecordsPolicyandRequestForm. You will be required to send in your state issued photo ID along with the form when mailing the MNPD Public Records Policy and Request Form.
We do not accept or send requests by fax.
A reasonable fee shall be charged for the reproduction of requested files. Please be aware that there is no ATM on site.
