The Evidence Storage Division has the responsibility of receiving, storing, releasing and maintaining security for most of all criminal evidence, stolen and found property recovered within Davidson County.
The effective investigation and prosecution of criminal offenders relies heavily on the careful, methodical and proper use of evidence. It is the responsibility of the Evidence Storage Division to maintain the integrity of each item of evidence and the integrity of its Chain of Custody.
There are careful safeguards in place to ensure all the integrity of the property, and that it is processed in accordance with state laws, city ordinances, departmental policies and procedures.
Hours of Operation
Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Hours may be adjusted for training, maintenance, inclement weather or other emergencies (closed all major holidays.)
