Quick action by Midtown Hills Precinct patrol officers last night led to the arrest of a 16-year-old following an attempted robbery in an apartment complex on Zermatt Avenue.
The male victim said a male suspect wearing a face mask pointed a gun at him and demanded his car keys. The suspect was unsuccessful and fled on foot.
Midtown Hills officers located the suspect, Jabari Thomas, and took him into custody after a brief foot chase. A handgun was also located in his path.
Thomas is charged with aggravated robbery, among other charges.
