Specialized Investigations Division TITANS detectives Sunday night arrested 18-year-old Nashvillian Tyler Moore for the wounding of two homeless individuals at Riverfront Dog Park off 1st Avenue South in the early morning hours of May 4.
Moore was taken into custody while working at a local home improvement store and is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, especially aggravated robbery, use of a gun while committing a dangerous felony, and felony reckless endangerment.
The gunshot victims, a 55-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, reported being approached by four young men who attempted to rob the 55-year-old victim of his marijuana. During an ensuing scuffle, he was shot in the chest and leg. She suffered a graze wound to her left side. The investigation, led by Non-Lethal Shooting Detective Rachel Susee and which included a review of area surveillance cameras, led to the identification of Moore as one of the suspects.
A judicial commissioner set Moore’s bond at $235,000.
