A continuing investigation by MNPD drug interdiction detectives and the DEA into the trafficking and distribution of methamphetamine and fentanyl in the Nashville area led to Thursday afternoon’s arrests of three men following the recovery of 11.5 pounds of meth and 18 grams of fentanyl.
The investigation shows that a parcel containing the 11.5 pounds of meth arrived at the 6306 Franklin Drive residence of Joshua Martin, 33, Thursday. Soon after, Marcus Pace, 29, of Nashville, and Kristopher Harris, 30, of Grand Blanc, Michigan, arrived at the home in a Dodge Ram pickup truck. Detectives moved in after seeing Martin place the parcel in the pickup truck. A search of the Ram resulted in the discovery of seven small bags of a substance that field tested positive for fentanyl, a substance responsible for a number of drug overdose deaths in this area.
Martin is charged with felony meth possession and engaging in a drug conspiracy. His bond is set at $80,000. Pace and Harris are charged with felony meth possession, felony fentanyl possession, and engaging in a drug conspiracy. Bond for each of them is set at $120,000.
MNPD dog Boston assisted in the investigation by alerting detectives to the package containing meth.
