Six additional felony warrants have been issued today against Deandre Conway, 23, for his involvement in the fatal crash on Gallatin Pike South that killed Landen Guye, 17, last Thursday. Conway was taken into custody Saturday morning on an outstanding homicide warrant for the fatal shooting of Terry Farmer, 24, that occurred prior to the crash.
Conway has now been charged with vehicular homicide by recklessness, four counts of aggravated assault, and leaving the scene of an accident involving a death. He also was charged with misdemeanor warrants of leaving the scene, failure to give information, failure to comply immediate notice of an accident, and driving on a suspended driver’s license.
The Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Conway, crashed into a Toyota Rav4 occupied by five teenagers at Emmitt Avenue as the group was leaving a haunted house tour. Guye was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he died.
Conway was arrested on Indian Lake Boulevard in Hendersonville Saturday.
