Convicted felon Andrew Walker Jr., 61, is in custody and charged with aggravated robbery for the March 16 holdup at Mapco, 6509 Charlotte Pike. He is also charged with the following thefts:
- March 4 at the Twice Daily, 204 White Bridge Road, where he allegedly took cartons of cigarettes;
- February 26 at Dollar General, 5100 Centennial Boulevard, where he allegedly took items, including laundry detergent;
- February 24 at Aimrok Distributors, 4043 Nolensville Pike, where he allegedly broke into a truck and took $7,000 worth of cigarettes;
- February 18 at Aimrok Distributors, 4043 Nolensville Pike, where he allegedly broke into a truck and took $8,000 worth of cigarettes.
Walker, of Lebanon, Tennessee, is suspected in other similar thefts in Hendersonville and Goodlettsville. He has multiple prior theft convictions dating back to 1997. Walker remains jailed on $97,000 bond.
