Chief John Drake today announced the promotion of three officers to the rank of sergeant effective tomorrow to fill precinct supervisory vacancies.
Robert Leverick, a 6-year MNPD veteran who is currently a Youth Services detective, will be a supervisor on the Midtown Hills Precinct's overnight shift. He holds a Bachelor's Degree from Bradley University.
John McDonnell, a 5-year MNPD veteran who is currently an Organized Retail Crime detective, will be a supervisor on the North Precinct's evening shift. McDonnell holds an Associate's Degree from Thomas Nelson Community College.
Peter Vaught, a 9-year MNPD veteran who is currently a Specialized Investigations Division detective, will be a supervisor on the South Precinct's overnight shift. Vaught holds a Bachelor's Degree from Pensacola Christian College.
