Chief John Drake today was named to the seven-member Board of Directors of the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF), the nation’s preeminent independent research organization that focuses on critical issues in policing. Chief Drake’s nomination to be PERF’s secretary was uncontested. He will serve through June 30, 2024.
“I am humbled to join PERF’s Board of Directors and look forward to contributing and learning as this organization brings information on cutting edge policing issues and practices to colleagues across the country,” Chief Drake said.
“Chief Drake brings enormous experience and credibility to our organization,” said Chuck Wexler, PERF’s Executive Director. “We are grateful for his willingness to serve on the PERF Board.”
