South Precinct officers and the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force are working to identify the man who Friday at 12:30 p.m. robbed Fifth Third Bank’s 1311 Bell Road branch.
The suspect, who covered his face with a white t-shirt, entered the bank armed with a handgun. The teller complied with his robbery demands. He fled on foot. The suspect is a tall, thin black man. He wore a red, white and blue jacket and ripped blue jeans.
Anyone recognizing the robber from the attached surveillance photographs is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
