Jericco McFarland, 41, is charged with two counts of aggravated kidnapping, two counts of aggravated robbery, and felon in possession of a gun after his arrest yesterday afternoon for a November 16th incident in which two men were placed in the trunk of a white Ford Fusion at gunpoint behind the Citgo at 701 Dickerson Pike.
One of the victims managed to call 911 from the trunk. McFarland drove around before stopping the car on Lischey Avenue where he and a second unidentified gunman struck both victims with their pistols and took their personal belongings. Both suspects fled from responding officers who located the two men inside the trunk. Both victims positively identified McFarland.
Violent Crimes detectives located McFarland in a grocery store parking lot where he was taken into custody without incident. A loaded revolver was recovered from inside the vehicle he was driving. McFarland, a registered ex-con for drug offenses, remains jailed on $202,500 bond.
