East Precinct detectives are asking for the community’s assistance in locating Daniel D. Hamilton, 25, the suspected gunman in the February 10 robbery of Dollar General Store’s 3019 Dickerson Pike location. An arrest warrant charging Hamilton with aggravated robbery was issued this afternoon. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Investigation by Detective Cole Womack led to the identification of Hamilton as the alleged masked robber who demanded money from a store clerk at gunpoint on the afternoon of February 10. Hamilton’s alleged getaway driver, Sharrod Barton, 28, was identified and arrested last Thursday.
