East Precinct detectives are working to identify the person responsible for Friday night’s apparent targeted fatal shooting of April Wilson, 33, who was struck by gunfire inside her residence at the Riverchase Apartments on Joseph Avenue.
Officers responded at 9:50 p.m. and found Wilson deceased inside her apartment. Shots were fired from outside, at close range, into her residence. One other apartment was also struck by gunfire but there were no other injuries.
