Update: Christian Pierre, 20, is the second person charged in the December 1 fatal shooting of Ashley Dominguez. Investigation by Homicide Unit detectives resulted in the identification of Pierre as the gunman who walked onto Murfreesboro Pike with a rifle and started shooting into the victim's vehicle. He is charged with criminal homicide and four counts of attempted homicide. He is jailed on $2,000,000 bond.
Yariel Sandoval, 15, was arrested on December 18 and charged with criminal homicide and four counts of attempted homicide in this case.
Homicide detectives are pursuing leads in Sunday's 5:30 a.m. fatal shooting of Ashley Dominguez, 18, outside an after-hours club at 981 Murfreesboro Pike.
According to witnesses, there was a heated argument prior to shots being fired at a car containing five persons, including Dominguez, who was a rear passenger. The driver pulled into a parking lot in the 1300 block of Murfreesboro Pike after realizing Dominguez and two other women, both age 19, had been injured. They were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where Dominguez died. The other two women were treated and released.
Detectives interviewed multiple persons. The investigation remains active.
