Precision policing efforts by TITANS Unit detectives Thursday night resulted in three arrests, the recovery of three guns, and illegal narcotics, including fentanyl.
During a vehicle stop on Jefferson Street, detectives observed an AR pistol under the front driver seat of a Dodge Charger. A 16-year-old male was seated directly behind the driver, Kamarius Armour, 27. The front seat passenger, Elijha McNeal, 23, is a convicted felon who was on federal probation.
Detectives recovered two more firearms from the Dodge Charger, a second AR pistol under the front passenger seat and a handgun in the trunk. They also recovered a backpack containing multiple baggies of narcotics and a digital scale.
Armour is charged with gun possession during the commission of a felony and drug possession with intent to sell. He is free on $55,000 bond.
McNeal, who is a registered ex-con for weapons offenses, is charged with felon in possession of a handgun, weapon possession during the commission of a felony, and felony drug possession. He remains jailed on $110,000 bond.
The 16-year-old is charged in Juvenile Court with gun possession during the commission of a felony, juvenile possession of a firearm, and felony drug possession.
