Update: Michael Casey Jr., 25, is now in custody in Knox County, Kentucky. He will be returned to Nashville soon.
Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating aggravated assault suspect Michael Casey Jr., 25, who on the night of March 11th violently attacked a 66-year-old man for no apparent reason causing serious injury.
The victim was at his Pennington Bend Road residence in his garage watching television when he was grabbed from behind by an intruder. The suspect, now identified as Casey, forced his fingers down the victim’s throat. He was able to fight Casey off prior to losing consciousness. The suspect did not make any demands during the attack.
Warrants charging especially aggravated assault and aggravated burglary have been issued against Casey. Anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463 or the Department of Emergency Communications at 615-862-8600.
