Non-Lethal Shooting Unit detectives are working to identify the gunman who shot a father while he was carrying his two 7-month-old daughters the night of February 8 outside of a restaurant on Nolensville Pike.
The 45-year-old victim was walking towards the business at 5743 Nolensville Pike just before 8 p.m. when the suspect, driving a 2010-2014 white Ford Flex, began pulling into a parking spot nearly striking the father holding his daughters.
The victim began yelling at the suspect, sparking a verbal altercation between the two. The suspect then produced a handgun and fired at the father, striking him in the hip.
The suspect then drove off in the Flex inbound on Nolensville Pike.
