A man has been arrested today following a road rage incident from November 20 on I-40 East near the Church Street exit. Anthony Tortorella, 50, was taken into custody at his home in Greenbriar.
A victim reported while she was driving on I-40 just after 9:30 a.m. on November 20, she was being tailgated by a black Hyundai Tuscon. The driver was honking and pointing a black handgun at her. As the man continued to wave his gun around, the victim took multiple photos of the vehicle, including the registered tag.
Tortorella was identified as the owner of the vehicle and the victim confirmed he was the suspect when shown a photo lineup. He is charged with aggravated assault.
