East Precinct detectives are continuing in their efforts to identify the man who murdered market clerk Maged Ghaly at 12:17 a.m. today as he was behind the counter of Danial Market, 2511 Dickerson Pike.
Ghaly, 49, was found dead by a customer at 12:47 a.m.
Surveillance video shows Ghaly’s killer enter the store about a minute before Ghaly was shot in what appears to have been an attempted robbery. He fled the store on foot heading south on Dickerson Pike.
