A convicted felon is jailed this morning on $206,000 bond after he was found driving a stolen vehicle on Murfreesboro Pike overnight by Violent Crimes Division detectives with a stolen gun and drugs inside. Kareem Kimbro, 39, was arrested on Carroll Street after he exited the Dodge Charger, which was reported stolen yesterday, bearing a temporary tag that was registered to a Honda.
Inside the Charger, detectives located an AR pistol, which was stolen in 2023 on Airport Center Drive, as well as a bag containing cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, MDMA pills and a scale.
Kimbro was charged with vehicle theft, theft of a firearm, altering a license plate, and several gun and drug charges.
